Welcome to Christianity Richly

Psalm 63:5 “My soul will be filled as if by rich food” (Jerusalem Bible).

Christianity Richly is the companion blog to Twitter posts by @ChristRichly. “The Church proposes; she imposes nothing” (John Paul II, The Mission of the Redeemer). May you always find that attitude here.

Please don’t miss the About page of this blog. It tends to get lost in the links under the headline “Christianity Richly,” but About explains the reasons for the blog.  Give special attention to the links for certainty, history, unity, authority, and liturgy.

Comments on posts are always welcomed, but if you are planning to add your thoughts, then please read On Posting Comments.

  1. Thank you for your encouraging comment Your pilgrimage is much like my own (Baptist, Presbyterian, then LCMS). My wife remains LCMS, although she graciously accompanies me to St. Mary’s. Be assured, you will be in my prayers. Pray, too, that my own Christian example is one that draws others to the one, holy, catholic, and apostolic Church.

  2. I was excited to read your blog, after coming here from a suggestion by Fr. Dwight Longenknecker. I am a Mo. Synod Lutheran, prior to that a Presbyterian, prior to that Southern Baptist. I think the Lord has led me to Roman Cathloicism by this path. I want to convert today, yet I wait patiently for my wife to be prepared to convert. She is uncertain about the role of the Holy Virgin. Please pray for us as I hope we reach our final destination.

I will be reading your blog daily. God Bless,
